From Elsewhere: The dark side of ‘diversity’ in Canada

I’m getting to be a regular reader of Frontpage Magazine the conservative website set up by David Horowitz. I read it even though it is inevitably US-biased, because many of its writers provide a very readable alternative to the narrative on issues such as migration, Islam and ‘diversity’ that is not being properly covered by the mainstream media. I’m also fascinated by Mr Horowitz’s own personal journey which, with his disillusion about the political Left, somewhat mirrors my own journey although mine has been much less dramatic than the route taken by Mr Horowitz. The writers on Frontpage magazine do offer an antidote to much conventional and often lazy thinking of the mainstream media and their commentariat, with regards the issues that the mostly conservative writers of Frontpage turn their attention to. In a recent piece by Lloyd Billingsley at Frontpage the writer highlighted some of the downsides of the ‘diversity’ that Justin Trudeau and other liberal / left politicians and activists have brought to Canada.

Anybody who takes an interest, even fleeting, in Canadian politics can see that the political Left is storing up a whole heap of trouble with their migration and diversity policies. Trudeau’s migration policies are flooding the country not with potentially useful citizens, but with welfare ponces, jihadists, criminals and perverts. Of course not all of the recent migrants to Canada are that way but due to the natures of the mostly Islamic cultures that these migrants have come from, ‘diversity’ has not been anything like a ‘strength’ for those subjected to pervert Muslim gynaecologists and pensioners beaten up by vicious Muslim thugs, two stories that Mr Bilingsley’s article concentrates on.

Mr Billingsley said of the two examples, which I’m afraid are but two of many that he could have given about the negative effect of diversity policies on Canada, have their roots in Islam’s attitude to both women and to non-Muslims. Although I can quite plainly recognise that no faith or race or nation has a monopoly on mindless violence or sexual misbehaviour I can also recognise that these particular incidents do have their roots in Islamic theology and culture. This why we see so many cases of anti kufar hatred from Muslims and Muslims behaving in sexually inappropriate ways to women or children. They do this because the Koran either doesn’t forbid it or because the Koran requires hatred of the kufar. There seems little doubt to me that both the pervert gynaecologist who made offensive remarks to patient among other incidents and the Muslim who bashed a pensioners skull, whih Mr Billingsley’s story is centred on, can be directly linked to the type of religious culture that these men were brought up with and inculcated with. Worse still for Canadians of all shades and types, the State whether at national, provincial or local level seems to be getting to grips with the fact that for a lot of people the idea of ‘diversity’ has badly soured.

Mr Billingsley said:

So it is entirely consistent that Dr. Bassam Mohamed Khalil Darwish El-Tatari should tell an exposed, vulnerable woman, “Wow! Are you ever nice and tight!” And Habibullah Ahmad’s attack on an aged, defenseless Christian woman is consistent with more than 100 Koranic verses commanding violence against non-Muslims

Such religiously motivated predation is certain to continue, unmatched by strong response. In Canada, anyone less than worshipful of Islam is smeared as an “Islamophobe.” In these conditions, nobody should be surprised if Dr. Bassam El-Tatari is fully acquitted and retains his medical license. Likewise, attempted murderer Habibullah Ahmad could easily get off with a tap on the wrist.

I’m afraid that although I agree with Mr Billingsley’s assessment that these crimes have their roots in Islam I also share his pessimism. Unless this religious predation is see for what it is, debated openly and honestly and cracked down upon then there will more women abused and more innocent Canadians harmed by Muslims who could not, or would not leave Islamic violence and hatred behind when they stepped onto Canadian soil.

Canada could be heading for impending conflict and even disaster because of the open door and pro-Islam policies of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. I hope and pray that such conflict and possible destruction can be averted for our brothers and sisters in the Dominion of Canada but it can only be achieved by stopping Trudeau’s apparent Muslim importation policy, restoring free speech to the country and forcing Muslims in Canada to abide by the norms of Canada and not by the norms of whatever 7th century hell hole that Canada’s troublesome Muslims hail from. Maybe if Trudeau and his remarkably illiberal Liberal Party are defeated in next year’s election, Canada can rescue itself and tell its Muslim citizens to live like Canadians, respect Canadian laws, customs and people or depart never to return to Canada again? There are many Canadian Muslims and ex Muslims who want to basically keep their heads down and be Canadian, by Trudeau opening Canada’s doors to the worst of the worst from the Islamic world and not tackling the problems that such people cause, Trudeau is making live bad for all Canadians including secular and quietist Muslims and those who wish to leave this increasingly accursed ideology.
