Just how low can Naz Shah go?

Labour MP Naz Shah

When you listen to the various spoutings of the Labour MP Naz Shah, each time I think that now she’s reached peak stupid or peak ignorant or peak malevolence. Sadly her spoutings continue to get worse. Previously Ms Shah MP has made statements that have ranged from praising the misogynist culture of Pakistan, quoting a ‘pro-necklacing’ quote from violent thug Winnie Mandela, to retweeting a spoof Owen Jones Twitter account post that read: ‘Those abused girls should shut up for the sake of diversity’.

However, after the latest example of stupidity from Naz Shah I wonder if she really has reached rock bottom or whether she will come out with something worse? I’ve been sent, via a contact, an image that claims to be from Shah on VE Day showing what she appears to believe are Allied soldiers from British India. Unfortunately for her they were not. If you look very carefully at the uniforms you will see on the front the unmistakable image of a Nazi Eagle emblem. Two of the figures, the ones in the centre are wearing the rank badges of an SS Rottenfuhrer or SS Squad leader and the figure on the right, whose rank can be seen is wearing the rank badge of an SS Sturmann or SS Stormtrooper.

The men featured in the below image are plainly NOT Allied service personnel, they are members of Hitler’s SS recruited from British India during World War II. Naz Shah tweeted out this image, on VE Day no less, as a way of paying homage to the many Empire troops from across the world who fought and died. Sadly Naz Shah cannot tell the difference between an Allied uniform and a Nazi one.

Below you can see the correct uniform worn by Indian troops who served under the King’s Colours during World War II, in the case of this image, British Indian troops in Burma.

What Naz Shah MP has done is either monumentally stupid or is some sort of Freudian slip that indicates her true beliefs. It could be a Freudian slip bearing in mind that she’s made statements in the past that are none too friendly to the Jewish community of Britain and the United States or to Israel? But, whether she’s done this because of stupidity or malice, it is a massive insult not just to our intelligence for her to do this but also an insult to the many veterans of World War II who came from the Indian sub-continent. We have to ask the question: Did she do this out of sheer stupidity or is there some sort of malevolence behind her choice of image? Either way she’s not fit to represent her constituents in the House of Commons.

Naz Shah has used VE Day to laud traitors and that is something that should disgust every decent Briton. We’ve had some pretty bad MP’s in this country over the years, MP’s who’ve been venal, dishonest, corrupt and in some cases criminal, but Naz Shah has been consistently vile and this latest incident is but one in a career that has been characterised by vileness. Shah is unfit for office and maybe it’s time for all those decent people in Bradford to vote this creature out of office at the next election and replace her with someone less stupid and less dodgy as Shah is consistently proving herself to be?

  1. Unfortunately, this vile creature will keep her Bradford seat, on the backs of thousands of corrupt, unverifiable mosque-whipped mass Muslim Postal Votes.

You are probably correct sadly. I wonder how she’d fare if postal votes were banned?

  2. Quite astounding, but then again maybe not.
Many Muslims, both then and now, thought that Hitler was a great guy whose only failing was that he didn’t finish the job.
So perhaps this is Shah signalling her thoughts in a deniable manner “Oh gosh! I didn’t realise, I’m soooooo sorry, it was an honest mistake.” to the constituency that really matters to her in a “dog-whistle” form.

Then again perhaps her knowledge of history is so poor that she can’t tell the difference between British Empire and German troops and it really was an “honest mistake”.
(Mind you I suspect most young people today cannot easily tell the difference between the uniforms either.)

However, how many “honest mistakes” is one allowed before it becomes a matter of deliberation?

I note this is all over the MSM as usual.
