Quote of the Day 21/10/2020 – The vexatious complainant and the PC police need to be exposed and possibly prosecuted.

As we all now know, the Brexiteer commentator Darren Grimes has had the vexatious complaint that was made against him for comments made by Dr David Starkey during Mr Grimes interview with him withdrawn by the Metropolitan Police.

This comment by Anna over on the Guido Fawkes site is one that I can heartily agree with.

Anna said:

‘We are writing to inform you that an allegation was made……..’

By whom, one wonders. Isn’t it sinister that a young man can be harassed by the law on an anonymous complaint, which proved to be as frivolous as it was malicious?

It is natural justice that an accused person should know the identity of his accuser; otherwise, the malevolent, aided by a politicised police force, could continue to persecute anyone they disagreed with on the flimsiest of pretexts.

I’d like to see this snitch, whoever he/she is, publicly named, and prosecuted by Darren Grimes for defamation and by the police for wasting police time.

Well said there. Name the snowflake snitch. Name the officers who pushed this case and have Mr Grimes drag these people through the courts.

Do we know that the complainant even exists ? When the Met’ set out to “get even” with Tory MP and Govt Chief Whip Andrew Mitchell following his dispute with officers over which gate he should wheel his bike through – (though what the f— it had to do with them, God alone knows…) – they simply faked a letter purporting to be from a witness.

Similarly – as you yourself drew attention to – some careerist police-woman spent months looking for somebody petty enough to agree to claim to have been “offended” by a man training his girl-friend’s dog to make a fascist salute.

Now that Tommy Robinson has been driven out of the country, Darren Grimes has evidently been moved further up on the “target-list” for SJW police officers and petulant cross-dressing Lefty lawyers, and next time it may not just be a fox that gets a baton over the head.

You make a very good point about the complainant. It is quite possible, assuming that the Met didn’t invent this complaint, that the initial complaint may well have come from one of the many ‘third party hate crime reporting groups’. These groups are dedicated to identity politics and are all too often playing fast and loose with the truth. These groups also have very good access to the police and are treated by police forces as ‘credible’ reporters. I would not be at all surprised if the initial complaint came from one of these groups, the questions I would want answered are which one and to which force and subsection of the force was the initial complaint made to?

  2. Yep, Darren & Starkey should sue MET and all involved (inc plod) prosecuted for wasting police time

    Consultation About HMG’s Coronavirus Dashboard

A reader has got in touch to point out that the Government is currently carrying out a consultation about the data displayed in its coronavirus dashboard. He has responded himself and urges Lockdown Sceptics readers to do the same.
    This is my feedback:

    Please, please:

    1) Don’t show positive PCR tests as “cases”. They are not cases; they are “positive PCR tests”.

    2) Don’t show absolute numbers of positive PCR tests. That’s meaningless and depends entirely on the number of tests performed; show the number of positive PCR tests per 1,000 tests.

    3) Don’t imply a positive PCR test is equivalent to an infection. There are many reasons why a positive PCR test does not mean an actual infection not least because of false positives; show the likelihood that a positive test is an infection (For example, if the infection rate in the UK is 0.2% and the false positive rate is 2.4% then the likelihood that a positive PCR test indicates actual infection is 7.7%). In fact, it may be better to display the statistically likely infections per 1,000 tests.

Would be good for many of us to provide this sort of feedback”

Good responses, I’ve submitted similar- we need to dial-back this fear mongering and misuse of words. Will you?

Will take a look at that LDS thing. The situation has all gone completely mad now. The only thing keeping this charade going are the frightened morons who still get their ‘news’ from the BBC.
