The comedian Frankie Boyle was never wholly to my taste. However I did take the view that he was a necessary boundary pusher and edge finder on the comedy scene. I might not have liked some of his comedy and was sometimes offended by it but I supported his right to speak freely and laugh at everything.
Sadly according to a video that has been put up on the Lotuseaters channel, Frankie Boyle has cucked to the ‘woke’ Left, Islam and the increasingly aggressive and violent Trans activist lobby. The man who once made jokes about dead babies and the Queen’s vagina is now a pale and emaciated shadow of his former self. He’s come out against Mohammed cartoons and against the very same comedy that played a big part in making his name among the general public.

It’s sad to see Frankie Boyle go like this but maybe the offence and risk taking he gave and did was just an act and all he’s really after is the money that the BBC readily transfers from the British public in large amounts to their approved ‘comedians’?

You’ve got to be pretty extreme in your hatred of conservatives or Brexiteers to do a routine that shocks a leftie liberal like Katherine Ryan.
Saw the video. Although the Owen Jones tweet does not in my view meet the standard of being an immediate and credible threat of violence, it certainly looks as if it is an exhortation to ‘go after’ those who voted for Brexit.
