From Elsewhere: A reformer of Islam speaks

Despite the dislike that many in the West have for the ideology of Islam, many of us also feel that we should neither ignore nor fail to promote those who are bring reform to this ideology. One of those who is trying to talk about and bring reform to Islam is Dr Zuhdi Jasser of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy group.

In a fantastic interview that has been published on the Gatestone Institute page and which I found via the Religion of Peace website, Dr Jasser speaks strongly and eloquently about many of the issues that concern him and about his Syrian heritage and the fascistic regime of Syrian President Asad. Dr Jasser doesn’t hold back when criticising Ilhan Omar who he says emerged from an ‘alphabet soup’ of Muslim Brotherhood linked front groups and how the American far Left has assisted both Omar and radical Islam.

I would strongly advise people to read this article as it is a fascinating insight into the mind of a truly reformist Muslim and one who is not afraid to criticise those aspects of Islam, namely political Islam that need criticising.
