It’s quite obvious for any observer to see that when it comes to protecting decent people from crime both the Met Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick and Sadiq Khan the Greater London Mayor, who is also the local Police and Crime Commissioner have failed, are failing and will continue to fail.
It’s not just London, here in our town its well known that the police will not turn up for shop lifting offences unless the thief has stolen more than £50 worth of goods. Recently my wife was in a charity shop when some newcomers to our country simply helped themselves to a load of items and walked out. The staff said it’s dangerous to tackle them and the police don’t want to know. That’s what passes for the rule of law in UK today.
The police seem to have given up on everything apart from Twitter comments that is.
