Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey claims that he wants the rural fuel duty relief scheme expanded but forgets that his own party voted for more fuel duty and more taxes on fuel.
As I said, it must be a Wednesday because there’s a Lib Dem telling lies. Many politicians are self interested, venal, power hungry scum sadly, but the Lib Dems, being a party that is now neither liberal nor democratic, personify all these negative attributes but add blatant and cheeky dishonesty to the mix.
If only the Lib Dems were alone in telling lies but sadly it’s the default position for most politicians today. Small wonder we are seeing a steady decline in party membership and interest in voting.
Of course the Lib Dems are not the only politicians who lie. What’s notable is tht this party excels at it.
