Some politicians really look out of place sometimes.

There are some politicians and in particular national leaders who can look relatively comfortable in military vehicles. The late Margaret Thatcher managed to pull off looking relatively comfortable in a tank for example and had the self awareness to not move or stand or act in the sort of way that would have made her look an arse.  There’s a good example of such an image of Lady Thatcher in a tank below.

Now Sir Keir Starmer on the other hand looks like supremely uncomfortable riding in a French military vehicle during  an Armistice Day remembrance event in Paris, France.  He looks like he’s been plonked there against his will with a bit of scaffold pole inserted into his coat to keep him upright.  Starmer didn’t even have the presence of mind and the self awareness to not make himself look an arse with his hand gestures.  This is because at one point Starmer raised his right hand palms outward as he trolled around Paris with the French President Macron in an embarrassing echo of Adolf Hitler’s pose and gesture when that unitesticled Austrian was engaging in his own personal Paris tour back in the 1940’s.  Take a look at the video below and you might come to the same conclusion as I did which is that even Boris Johnson in full buffoon mode would not look as much of an arse as Starmer looked.

It looks as if Kemi Badenoch has the balls, the resilience, the principles and the ability to be another Margaret Thatcher. Here’s hoping.

I used to have a lot of time for Ms Badenoch as she often said the right things about migration, multikulti and woke. But recently a lot of stuff came out about how she wasn’t on top of her brief, was not punctual at meetings and let slip by wokery that should have been barred. Some of that failure to attack wokery properly might not have been completely her fault but the fault of the wider party but Jenrick in my view came across much better and seemed more willing to name the stuff that other politicians feared to.

I hope that I’m wrong and that Ms B can do what’s necessary and be a proper conservative but I’ve beenlet down by Cons so many times that I’m not going to hold my breath waiting.

I tend to agree. I think it’s a case of wait and see.
Meanwhile I’m sticking with Reform UK. Let’s hope they avoid the backstabbing of so many other parties or I’m out.
