Another synagogue firebombed.

Kenton Synagogue

The situation in Britain regarding attacks on synagogues is getting worse and worse. Recently it appears that we are getting one firebombing of a synagogue or of Jewish organisations per week.

The latest attack was in Kenton in North West London when an incendiary device was thrown through the window of the synagogue.

The London Evening Standard reported:

Counter-terror police are investigating the “firebombing” of a synagogue in north London, the latest in a “terrifying” spate of arson attacks on the Jewish community in London.

Police were called to Kenton United Synagogue in Shaftesbury Avenue, Harrow, at around midnight after a bottle containing an accelerant was thrown through a window.

It caused smoke damage, but there were no injuries and no significant structural damage.

The initial fire was apparently spotted by routine police ‘reassurance patrols’ in an area that has within it a lot of Jews. If these Metropolitan Police officers had not spotted the fire at an early stage then this could have had far greater impact.

As before there is speculation that this as with other Jew hatred related attacks in London is the work of the Iranian Islamic regime and this cannot be ruled out. It’s quite possible that the Iranian government is paying criminals in Britain to attack British Jews something which is quite the escalation from what we’ve seen in previous years.

Of course the Prime Minister has decried this attack but it’s unlikely that his government will do anything to stop this problem getting even more out of hand. This is because the ruling Labour Party has significant problems with both Jew hatred among its own members and supporters and because the Labour Party cannot robustly protect Britain’s Jews without upsetting the millions of Jew hating Muslims that comprise Labour’s new ‘core vote’.

I’d like to think that things will get better for Britain’s Jews but I’m cynical enough and knowledgable enough about history to not be all that optimistic.

  1. That’s my synagogue. Time to form a new well trained JDL.

    • I lay most of the blame on the government and the various agencies and ministries who instead of supporting Israel unequivocally when she was attacked by the monsters plus effectively encouraged the hate marches from the very day of the atrocity, said and done nothing about the embedded Jew hatred in “Academia” and the media, none of what is happening now surprises me
The crawling up the Prophet’s fundament and kowtowing to Islam and every loon as long as it’s anti-israel and anti-america/west presumably to consolidate various bloc-vote or more likely to avoid accusations of “phobias”, racism and the threats of violence, we Jews have been thrown under the bus.
I can’t see it getting any better as long as we have a Labour government packed with Paliwankers and devoid of a backbone and in the wings the Hamas fellating “greens, the deeply anti-semitic LibDems and the religion of cuddly kittens that doesn’t even bother hiding its intentions.
The Tories, although containing some excellent MPs, one of which, Bob Blackman is one of the best, have failed to get rid of the Blairites and conservatives-in-name-only in their ranks which has resulted in few robust genuinely conservative policies, almost scared of being conservative.
Reform are very pro-Israel but have fallen into the trap of not being outspoken enough, plus did themselves a lot of damage by dobbing in Rupert Lowe to the Gestaplods.
Party-wiae I am politically homeless. For the locals I will stick with the Conservatives as they handle the council better than the Paliwankers of the Labour party who are far too much in thrall to the mosque-whipped unverifiable mosque-whipped mass Muslim postal votes. Nationally I will stick with Bob as he is a bloody good MP and for me, unusually, I trust him.
As a Jew, I am increasingly uncomfortable seeing the UK starting to rapidly mirror the worst excesses of the 1930s and our being a w very small minority, will be sacrificed for the larger block votes.
I have very little faith in, and time for the police, who long ago and accelerated by the Great COVID Scam turned from public servants/protection, into something far darker and far more dangerous, seamlessly and smoothly transforming into a censorious, selectively enforcing STASI.
The NHS, far from being immune, has almost signally failed to deal with the dangerous radicalisation and tolerance of the cult of so-called palestine in the ranks, putting us at mortal risk from radicalised Islamic staff, to the extent that Jewish patients are scared of being admitted to what I now call the Royal Free (Palestine) Hospital.
Lastly for now, the Marxist infested Univershitty Halls of Knackerdemia resembling those of soviet Russia and Nazi Germany turning out angry, indebted coloured-haired snot-hanger-nose-ringed Arafat gen’o’cide scarf sporting, unemployable “graduates” in “nothing degrees” such as “gender studies” or the more toxic “degrees” in monstrously bias “middle east studies” in face any “degree” with the word “studies” in it.
It is more than ironic that Jews feel safer in an Israel, a warzone, under attack where they are sheltered and defended than here in a supposedly “free” Britain. That illusion finally evaporated for me, on October 7th when the “free fakestine” protest started AS THE HAMAS ATTACKS WERE GOING ON.
Personally, I think, especially with the current mob of surrender monkeys and student union Trots led by a hollow, unprincipled “human rights” lawyer who cares about everyone’s human rights but that of UK citizens, if it carries on at this rate, I give the country 5 years, ten at the nose before final collapse into a secratianh third world shit-hole, Islamised and enforced selective digital Serfdom.
Time perhaps to look at selling up and moving to the safer warzone

I find myself in agreement with you about how the Islamopandering in the media, government and academia has helped to create this terrible situation. I also agree that things will not get better until this government is gone and even then it might be replaced with something worse maybe Green Jew haters or a bunch of Jackboot lickers who the public vote for out of desperation. Sadly I felt considerably safer in Israel a few years back when there was a war on then I would in some parts of London.

I think security at all shuls needs to be stepped up and communities need to acquire more HUMINT and SIGINT skills as well. BTW Got a funny JDL story for you. Was once conversing online many years ago with some American Jews who were discussing about how a JDL type org could be set up in the UK. They were getting quite excited and one suggested that the group could have some form of uniform whilst another thought that having black shirts with the organisations logo on the left breast would be a great idea. I had to explain to them not just about the political uniform bans under the 1936 Public Order Act but also why parading around UK cities wearing a uniform which featured a prominent black shirt was also a very bad idea because of the connotations with Oswald Mosley. They’d weighed into the UK scene not only without knowing UK law but also having no idea who Oswald Mosley was.

  2. I agree, it’s an awful situation and we should have evolved as a civilisation beyond the antisemitism of the Middle Ages and its frequent revivals. However I also notice in this blog that you promote mistrust of Islam and its adherents in the UK by using words like Islamopandering, Pallywankers, and conspiracy theories about postal votes rigged towards the Islamic ‘takeover’. You all need sounder evidence for this before implying that respect for Jews can only be achieved by fighting Islam, and the Left.

We live in the UK under a secular parliamentary democracy with citizens of different religions and cultures and none. Both Muslims and Christians want converts and both make inroads trying to bring religious standpoints on communal issues into political discourse.

Regarding support or opposition to Israel, I personally advocate neutrality unless a person has intimate knowledge about what is really going on other nations beyond what is processed by competing media outlets.

I really want antisemitism to stop, but I am also sceptical about casual negative stereotypes towards Muslims in the Uk who are not all a Western hating monolith.

You may not believe it but we do have a problem with Islam. Whilst there are many Muslims who are not in any way problematic the same cannot be said for some parts of Islam. If every Muslim followed the Aga Khan’s branch or one of the reformed branches of Islam such as the Ahmadiyya, then I doubt that neither I nor anyone else would have as much of a problem with Islam as we do. The problem is the world is not as we would like it to be the world is as it is and in that world we do have numerous problems that can be laid at the feet of the ideology of Islam and what it does to people and what it propels them to do.

As for evidence of the problematic nature of Islam then there’s the massive pile of dead Britons from terror attacks inspired by Islam, the gang rapes where the victims were seen as less than human because of Islamic ideology which places Muslim men above all others. Or maybe we could look at the the issue of Muslim groups exploiting the postal vote system and the misuse of charity organisational vehicles for their own ends. It is not a ‘conspiracy theory’ when the information a story is based on has a reasonably trustworthy source. The facts are Islam is associated with terrorism, Islam doesn’t on the whole play nice with other faiths, places run by Islam are not a good place to be a woman or an LGB person or a member of a minority religion and false beliefs about Jews are common currency in Islam dominated societies.

As for Britain it is not a constitutional parliamentary democracy, it is a constitutional monarchy but it is certainly not secular as the head of state is head of the national church.

Regarding Israel I’m in touch with many Israelis and my wife has family there so we hear about people having to run to air raid shelters and more.

Like you I want the Jew hatred to stop but maybe one way to start to get that to stop would be to be honest about Islamic Jew hatred and its origin in Islamic scripture and theology. Remember, a lot of today’s Jew hatred is not organically grown and rooted in Christian belief and a distrust of ‘the other’ which it was back in the days of Oswald Mosley, that sort of belief will always be there, but it’s not a belief that is widely supported. Today’s Jew hatred has I’m afraid quite often been imported.

Frankly, we do not need sounder evidence. The evidence of history in unequivocal, the evidence from the recent past and today is clear and the intent is written into the religion.

If you read the Islamic sources (Koran – in chonological order, Tafseer, Ahadith, etc.) then there can be no doubt that Islam itself is inherently hostile (to a murderous degree) to all “Kaffirs” or non-Muslims.

As for Islam’s adherents; this depends on what you mean. If you mean adherents to orthodox Sunni and Shia Islam then, by definition, they are “worthy of mistrust” because they adhere to those murderous tenets. As F211 notes in his reply to you, “If every Muslim followed the Aga Khan’s branch or one of the reformed branches of Islam such as the Ahmadiyya” then there would be no problems.” One issue here, is that most in the west think that “moderate Muslims”, that is “cultural” or “nominal” are the norm workld-wide, whereas this is not the case, and the Koran specifically calls such Muslims “Hypocrites” for not being Muslim enough.

Islamopandering. Again the evidence is irrefutable. To give one example: there have been repeated attempts, by government, to bring in Sharia-style “balsphemy” laws that would grant special protection to Muslims and proscribe critique of Islam. This comes down to the subjective nature of “hate” in the various pieces of legislation. A key point is that if someone says something that someone else (even if they were not present at the time and thus lack any context) thinks the remark was based on “hatred” then that speech is deemed a “hate incident”. As a seond, very recent example, consider the young man who was abused by a Hamas supporting Keffiyeh sporting woman as a “wannabe Jew” who should “wear a Kippa” (which on today’s campuses would mark him out ofr a lot of aggro). He responded with the jokey remark that she was “wearing a tea-towel”. He got suspended from his Uni when she complained. Her anti-semitic prior remarks were ignored.

Pallywankers. A somewhat unkind (perhaps) description of those non-Muslims who have taken on-board Hamas propaganda without engaging in any (never mind critical) thinking. Those chants of “From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free” are clear calls for the destruction of Israel and “globalise the intefada” means globalise Islamic terror, as has been seen in the recent attacks on Jews, Synagogues etc. in the UK, Europe and America. All this from the (self-professed) “anti-racist”, “be kind” and ‘progressive’ types.

Postal vote rigging. Oh dear me. There have been multiple convictions for this from Peterborough to Tower Hamlets, to witnesses who have seen this. Again the evidence is irrefutable.

As for fighting Islam, who is actually saying that? Israel is fighting murderous, genocidal, terrorist regimes and the Iranian regime and IRGC whose main chant is “death to Israel”. Do you not believe them? In the UK alone, in 2025, 20 Iran-backed terror plots were thwarted. Iranian-linked terror organisations have claimed (which is not, I admit the same as “carried out”) attacks in 2026 across Europe and in the UK. If a group of apocalytic religious fanatics are calling for your death and actively trying to kill you (by use of those terrorist proxies), should you not believe them?

I can only conclude that you refuse to see the clear evidence that is in the public domain for anyone, but as the saying has it “there is none so blind as those that will not see”.

The Jews get what they imposed on Britain by importing rhe filthy Muslims and putting up every obstacle to deporting them and calling everyone racist. Let the Jews move to Israel and fight for the demonic antichrist “faith” from hell over there and do so with no funding from the West which they hate and have attacked with the Immigration Weapon. And let Israel rhen be bombed to oblivion by Russia, China, and Iran and thus humanity will be saved from the LGBTQP+ and AI agendas which both come from these alien demons called Jews.

Would not be surprised if that one is American judging by his choice of username. A British person might have chosen something different as Rabbi S isn’t that well known among the Jew hating NPCs in the UK when compared to the USA.
