Monty Python’s Life of Brian was not only one of the greatest comedy films ever made but some of the sketches in it have been highly prescient. We can recognise, from the movie’s plot line about the People’s Front of Judea’s antipathy to other anti-Roman groups the tendency of real life small political groups on the Left and the Right to split. The movie also mocked the counterfactual beliefs of the Trans movement long before the Trans movement became a blight on Western nations.
Life has imitated Monty Python’s art again with the news that an American Trans rights group has called for a demonstration against ‘menstrual inequality’. Of course those deluded women who believe mastectomies and dangerous cross sex hormones make them men may still menstruate but there’s no way on earth that transwomen aka men are ever going to menstruate.
The commentator Craig Houston noticed this latest fountain of delusion and has distributed it for our delectation and amusement.

I don’t even think that the incredibly talented Monty Python team could have thought up something as bizarre or as counter to biological reality as a load of people, pretending to be something they are not, campaigning for something that they will, if they are transwomen, never ever do.
