A couple of months back there was a street incident in Broad Street in Birmingham that West Midlands Police handled extremely badly. Cody Harper a young White man was attacked by a group of ethnics as he walked along the road. Mr Harper fought back and was knocked to the ground. As he got up he was grabbed by a female police officer who was contacted by Mr Harper’s fist. Anyone who has seen the video that went about at the time could see that Mr Harper punched before he realised that the person grabbing onto him was a police officer.

Mr Harper ceased to fight back the moment that he realised that he had been grabbed not by his original assailants but by a police officer. However that did not prevent the police and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) from pressing charges against Mr Harper for assaulting police.

The case got as far as getting a court date before the CPS dropped all charges against Mr Harper. Mr Harper can now go through life without a stain on his character.

This case might not have ended this way had not Mr Harper and his supporters stuck to their guns on this issue. If Mr Harper had been persuaded that it would be better to just plead guilty and get it all over with then he could have ended up with a gaol sentence and a criminal record.

There’s a lesson for all of us in Britain from Mr Harper’s case. That lesson is for those who are genuinely innocent but who have been fitted up with false charges by the police and the CPS to stand their ground and not cave in. The police and the CPS let this case get right to the wire before realising that they had not a hope in hell of emerging from this case with their reputations intact and dropped the case. I suspect that the police and the CPS kept this case going as long as they could in the hope that Mr Harper could cave in and plead guilty even though he was the victim not the aggressor in this case.

Mr Harper has beaten what many people think is a police force that is thoroughly bent with DEI nonsense and which has been criticised in the past for not doing enough about the Islamic majority rape gangs that have been alleged are operating in Birmingham. It’s a victory for Mr Harper and a stunning defeat for West Midlands Police and what one person described as the ‘diversity chihuahua’ female officer who steamed into Mr Harper despite Mr Harper being the victim of this vicious attack.

Well done to Mr Harper and his supporters and shame on West Midlands Police.
