Quote of the Day 24th September 2026 – Burn’em creates a martyr and a rallying point.

It appears that Britain’s politically compromised police under the instructions of the morally compromised government of Andy ‘Burn the country down’ Burnham has decided to create a martyr for the border control cause by arresting Danny Tommo the anti-invasion activist. This arrest follows a couple of weeks of harassment of Danny Tommo and his family by police and by some regime journalists over Tommo’s involvement in protests against the Channel Invasion at Dover and Portsmouth.

On the subject of the arrest of Danny Tommo Dr Richard North said on his blog Turbulent Times:

“Another fragment of news being reported widely across both genres (mainstream and social media Ed.) is the police decision to arrest Danny Tommo after he had slashed a dinghy mid-Channel. He has been charged with criminal damage, while “reckless as to whether life would be endangered”.

I am not convinced that the police are wise to go down this rabbit hole. Do they really want to pursue a charge of damaging a dinghy procured by organised crime for the purpose of criminal activity which had already been completed and the dinghy abandoned, while the single “rescue worker” briefly on board was in absolutely no danger?

The net effect of any court hearing can only strengthen Tommo’s growing reputation as an effective anti-migration activist, and should he ever be imprisoned (which in this case is probably unlikely) he will immediately be treated as another martyr to the cause.

His action though has sharply divided opinion, triggering an extensive debate on X, with the balance of support overwhelmingly in favour of Tommo. The contrast between the police escorting the criminal migrants to their warm beds and returning to bang-up Tommo for slashing their boat is one that is hard to ignore.”

I agree with Dr North here. The police should have left well alone here. The ‘rescue worker’ aka invader helper, was apparently in no danger and was already in the process of moving from the invader boat to another vessel when Danny Tommo allegedly took a knife and slashed the side of the inflatable invader boat. Tommo did Britain a favour by slashing the invader boat as it can now no longer be returned to France and be used by yet more invaders.

If this case comes to court then the hearing is likely to become a platform for Tommo’s views and Tommo’s group. In this the situation may be similar to that of the Suffragettes who turned the courtrooms that their cases were heard in into political platforms. If Tommo is gaoled then there will be outcry from the public and pearl clutching by regime media.

Edited to add: The growing public perception of Danny Tommo of being a martyr is going to be strengthened by this video of Tommo at a petrol station pleading with police to be allowed to say goodbye to his children as he was arrested.
