When Andy ‘burn the country down’ Burnham was appointed as Prime Minister he made a lot of promises that he is unlikely to be able to keep.  One of those promises was the bold one to promote economic growth.

The phrase that Burn’em used was IIRC ‘Labour will bring growth to every postcode’.  Sadly I very much doubt that Burn’em will achieve ‘growth in every postcode’ but he’s certainly very close to achieving the Labour Party’s goal of placing a cross Channel rapist/murderer/robber/ponce/violent extremist in every postcode. Still no economic growth though.
