He gets knocked down, but he gets up again. The return of Donald Trump?

Donald Trump

The American conservative political commentator Liberal Hivemind is one of my ‘go to’ channels of a morning, or at least when it’s morning where I am. Part of my enthusiasm for his work is because he is, for a partisan, more balanced than some. He recognises that not everyone on the opposite side to him is ‘evil’ and is more than willing to call out his own side when it falls short. The other reason I’m a supporter of Liberal Hivemind is that from watching his stuff I get the impression that he’s taken a similar journey to that which I have taken, which is a journey from centre-Left to centre-Right. This is by no means an easy journey and one that involves challenging received notions of what is and what is not correct.

Liberal Hivemind is not an Alex Jones style ranter nor is he one of those more slimy and self-interested conservatives who will say whatever his audience want to hear in order to get the clicks. He’s measured and reasonable and knows his subject, that of US politics.

Therefore when Liberal Hivemind says something interesting, I sit up and take notice. One of his latest videos on the subject of the return of Donald Trump is one of those that tell me a lot about what is going on in the USA at the moment.

I’d strongly advise readers to watch the short video embedded below from Liberal Hivemind as it explains what could be happening with regards to Mr Trump far better than I could. However, in a nutshell, what appears to be happening is that Mr Trump is neither down nor out. Mr Trump may have lost the Presidential election in questionable circumstances and with the help of Big Tech and MSM broadcasters, but he doesn’t appear to be giving up. Mr Trump is using the massive and motivated base of support that he gained throughout his Presidency to challenge those Republicans who failed to support the people who voted for them or to support the America First policies of Mr Trump. Apparently he is building up a list of those Representatives and Senators who fell short of the idea of putting the American people and their liberties first and Mr Trump will be using his considerable base and funds available to challenge the Republican politicians by way of a Primary Challenge.

I have also found out via Liberal Hivemind that Mr Trump may well be embarking on a major challenge to the two party system and there are lots of rumours going around about how a new Patriot Party may be formed to fight future elections. Whether Mr Trump will stand for election again for President is a moot point, age and a possible 25th Amendment conviction may prevent that, but what is plain to see even at this distance is that there are plenty of people who would be willing to take up Mr Trump’s ideas and run with them. As I said in a previous article on here, America may be entering one of those times when new parties are created to replace or augment the older ones, as happened in the mid to late 19th century.

It’s easy to forget that America didn’t always haver a Republican / Democrat split. Prior to the ascendancy of these two parties, different parties such as the Democratic Republicans, the Whigs, the Free Soil and even anti-Masonic parties fought for political power. We could again be seeing a situation where a once major party, this time either the Democrats or Republicans, fall from favour to be replaced by new ones. The big test for any new party, or even a Republican Party that abandons or removes its sclerotic time servers and elitist seat warmers, will be the mid-term elections in 2022. We shall see then whether or not any new Patriot Party gains ground.

Personally I believe that this is quite possible, especially if Joe Biden’s administration manages to, as is likely, piss off ordinary Americans to such an extent that voters start to look for an alternative. America has many more opportunities than have British subjects to express their political preference than British subjects do. They can vote for school boards, law enforcement chiefs, local prosecutors, mayors, county representatives and State-wide and Federal politicians. These are posts and positions that are all subject to the will of the people, unlike in Britain where most police, prosecutorial staff, dog catchers etc. are appointed from on high. All these lower level posts in the USA could be proving and training grounds for a new Patriot Party. I suspect that the furore over the recent Presidential election may propel many who previously did not take much interest in politics to stand either as Patriot Party or Trump aligned independents in these lower level posts, giving Trumpism a second chance.

Personally, as an outside observer, I would love to see Trumpism come back. I want to see a strong America as, for all its faults, America is a far better world leader than would be some of the alternatives. Give me a choice between a Trumpian America or the EU or the Chinese Communists and I’ll choose Trumpism every time.

Please watch the short video by Liberal Hivemind below and see how Trump may be down, but he’s certainly not out.

  1. Vote Fraud
Remember the CCTV from ‘closed’ counting station of suitcases wheeled out from under tablecloth by counters?

Fact checkers: ‘You’re imagining it, nothing happened, no one was there’

Courts: We refuse to hear any cases on Vote Fraud (we’re scared of Antifa)

MSM: Courts ruled there was no evidence of fraud and no fraud – No, courts made no ruling

    Soak up the Biden Unity
    Watch
