There’s a very interesting and informative article over at Front Page Magazine the outlet founded by the late anti-Communist activist David Horowitz that I’ve come across. It’s an examination of public attitudes to Islamic terrorism in various nations. Spoiler support for Islamic terrorism is both wider and more nuanced than we might like to think. Many Muslims in both Islamic and non-Islamic nations are favourable to Islamic terrorism in some way with some Muslims supporting terror provided it was aimed at non-Muslims whilst others are against Islamic extremism if it targets other Muslims. Whether this applies in places like the United Kingdom is debatable as I’ve met many Muslims in Britain who are just as horrified at Islamic terror as Britain’s non-Muslims are.
However the section on terror support in Pakistan caught my eye and here’s the relevant section in Front Page Magazine:
“For example, a survey found that 53% of Pakistanis supported Islamic terrorism against Hindus by Lashkar-e-Taiba, but only 34% supported similar terrorist attacks by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan. What was the difference? Lashkar-e-Taiba is covertly backed by the Pakistani government and only targets Hindus, but does not kill Pakistani Muslims, while Tehrik-i-Taliban also carries out attacks against the Pakistani government and kills other Muslims.
Lashkar-e-Taiba has made a point of distinguishing between non-Muslims and Muslims while carrying out its massacres, asking tourists in Kashmir about their religion before killing them in the recent 2025 massacre in Kashmir. This is why so many Muslims support it.
Lashkar-e-Taiba’s position is that it is dedicated to wiping out Hindus and Jews, but that it will not harm fellow Muslims who ‘profess the faith.’ That is enough of a difference for its level of support among Pakistanis to climb from a third to a majority. And this embodies the gap in Muslim support between terror attacks against Muslims and against non-Muslims.”
So what we have here is a large number of Pakistanis who are quite happy with Islamic terrorism provided it targets members of religions other than Islam. I’m afraid that this says a lot about Pakistani culture and not a lot that is good.
This data should worry nations that have a large Pakistani diaspora. Whilst there may be large numbers in this diaspora who reject violent extremism in all its forms (I’ve met a few of them) it’s quite possible that within this diaspora are those who would happily support violent extremism provided that it was aimed at Christians, Hindus, Jews and Sikhs.

Lebanon and Syria particularly kept the Fakestinians in the encampments, becausey they were trouble and would do damage to the country, but also kept cynically cooped up to breed resentment and hatred against Israel as a potential army to finally finish Hitler’s job and get rid of the Jews and erase Israel from history. Nothing has changed since, the Russian created “palestine” the world’s most virulent cultural and demographic cancer that for some reason is “trendy”, the sacred cow of the Left, yet not one of them would want them in their own countries, I can’t imagine why….
