The London Borough of Redbridge encompasses part of the former consituency of wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. For many years the connection between one of Britain’s greatest leaders, and the area he represented, has been celebrated and honoured. Now it seems that possibly due to the rampant Islamification of the Redbridge borough and the rise of the violent Left, that respect for heroes is less than it used to be in the area.
Brietbart London is reporting that the statue of Sir Winston has been vandalised. There has also been social media speculation as to who the culprits could be. Could it be the work of student-dominated brain dead Leftard (including Plastic Paddy Irish Republican type) groups, simple mindless vandalism by drunks, or an attack by Muslims?
Although there is every possibility that this attack could merely be the work of a teenage trot or some destructive drunk, the fact that this attack has occurred a few weeks after an unwanted mosque was attacked in Woodford, raises the question: Could this be an attack by local Islamists carried out in revenge for the attack on the unwanted Mosque? It’s certainly something to bear in mind. Here’s the Brietbart report with as usual the original report in italics and this blog’s comments in plain text:

Sir Winston, who has repeatedly been voted the Greatest Ever Briton, was the Member of Parliament for Woodford, where the crime occurred, from 1945 to 1964. He was 85 when the bronze statue in his honour was unveiled in 1959.
This isn’t just an attack on a statue, it’s an attack on one of the symbols of what many people see as Britishness. It’s similar, but to my mind not as serious, as an attack on a War Memorial, but it may come from a similar quarter as those attacks do, either the Britain-hating far Left or the Britain-hating Islamics.
But the icon has been daubed in orange and pink paint overnight, as noticed by member of the public Adam Penfield, 21, who said:
“I don’t know how or why it happened, but this is a disgusting act on a commemoration of a war hero.
“It is definitely not something you want to see done to an important statue which remembers our MP and the links he had to the area.”
Good to see a young man who knows something of his nation’s history. As to how and why it happened then maybe a look round at some of the enforced and highly unwanted changes that are being made to the area, may give you a clue.
Church End ward Conservative councillor, Tom McLaren, said “It is just awful and I am speechless this has happened to be honest.
“I can’t understand why anybody would want to disrespect someone who was a fantastic servant to the local area, a wartime leader and national hero.
It is indeed an awful and disrespectful attack. I can’t understand why someone would do this either. I can have a few guesses, such as teenage trots or drunks, but we should not discount totally, at least for the moment, that some of the local Bearded Savages may be behind this. Without a doubt the Muslims of Redbridge are getting more violent, arrogant and arse-y and the local political establishment, now controlled by the Labour Party have engaged in quite a bit of Islamopandering.
The Redbridge area is coming under increased pressure from Islam, of that there is no doubt, a rise in the Muslim population has led to Muslims in the borough becoming more and more politically powerful, and often more and more obnoxious in their attitudes to non-Muslims. Redbridge has seen such delights as a former workingman’s club, that local non-Muslims wanted to bring back into general community use, virtually seized by the Hainault and Chigwell Muslim Association. A rash of unwanted mosques have sprung up, across the borough, along with planning applications for yet more unwanted mosques. Islamic cemeteries, some run on extremist Wahaabi Islam policies have been imposed on locals and the complaints of the non-Muslims are being ignored by the local authority. The local Labour political establishment is pandering like mad to Muslims, and it seems that the long term effect of Labour running the place will be to have the place looking and feeling like the heavily Islam-influenced nearby boroughs of Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Waltham Forest and Tower Hamlets.
Some non-Muslims have noticed these unwanted changes and the arrogance of the Bearded Savages who are pouring into previously civilised parts of the borough, and they don’t like it, and are also getting angry about it. The non-Muslim people of Redbridge, when they have complained about Islamic groups, seizing buildings and behaving arrogantly, have been consistently ignored by the political establishment in the borough. This dismissing of genuine and valid concern about the presence and activities of the ideology of Islam in the borough is frustrating some locals and in one case led to an arson attack on the recently imposed mosque in Woodford. This is the sort of thing that I have so often warned would happen if Islam continues to be imposed on areas that really don’t want anything to do with it. When the local political establishment, as it is in Redbridge, seems to be working hand in hand with Islamic groups in order to facilitate Islamic expansion, then it is bound to cause resentment. This resentment is liable to be much higher in those Britons who have moved to places like the more leafy parts of the Borough of Rebridge, because Islam has made the previous places where they lived eg Newham, Waltham Forest and elsewhere in North and East London, into hostile and unsafe ghettos. Islam has turned so many parts of North, East and North-East London into places where I at least would think twice about letting a daughter out on their own such is the danger from Muslims who see non-Muslim women as nothing more than prey. Such people are likely to think ‘well I’ve been pushed out of my area once, and I don’t see why it should happen again’, with the almost inevitable and violent result. Violent protest against Islam is also much more likely to occur where the local political establishment cuts off peaceful and legitimate means of expressing an opinion about Islam or objecting to the imposition of mosques. If people have no voice and no peaceful means of objecting then violence becomes more likely.

If you read the linked-to article above you will able to see how the recently elected Labour MP Wes Streeting goes out of his way to offer comfort to the worshippers at the imposed and unwanted mosque. Time will tell whether Mr Streeting will be as effusively and hand-wringingly fawning on the residents of South Woodford after the Churchill statue attack as he was when a tiny amount of damage was done to a massively hated and unwanted mosque.
Although as I must repeat, this attack may be the result of teenage trots or drunks but the rise in tension in the area means that this desecration could well be the work of local Muslims angry that there are those in the local area who are none too keen on their religion of rape and murder. This could be a revenge attack on a symbol of Britishness by Muslims who are enraged that somebody attacked their mosque. Time will tell whether or not it’s drunks, trots or jihad.
It is pleasing to see that Redbridge Council have put a cleaning crew in place to wash the defilement from the statue. However, for me at least, it will be many years before I can either forget or forgive the part played by Redbridge Council, in facilitating the growth of an ideology that turns areas into shitholes and creates psychopaths by the score.
Redbridge used to be such a nice area, and then Islam happened. I don’t know what the future holds for Redbridge but I fear it may include a lot more strife.
